Support is provided for Internet-based meetings, classrooms, and virtual office hours. Moderator-led interactions are possible from any location using acomputer and an Internet connection. Some of the features are:
- Two-way, synchronous, voice-over-IP audio that's accessible at low bandwidths
- Shareable, interactive whiteboards that include drawing tools and PowerPoint import
- Interactive quizzes, surveys, and polling
- Sharing of applications, desktops, or desktop regions
- Record and playback capabilities
Anticipated uses include conducting in-house ad hoc training, delivering courses and training across the country, and providing distance education to a large number of developing countries that currently have limited bandwidth.
