Description

We help enable faculty to work independently on integrating digital media (e.g., video, audio, podcasts, lecture capture, Flash) into instructional projects. We suggest pedagogically effective strategies, offer usage tips and techniques, and make hardware/software recommendations. Consulting is available in the ITS-Instructional Services' Media Studio, 2800 University Capitol Centre.

Digital Media Applications Training - Formal group training sessions to help faculty and staff gain in-depth knowledge of instructional media applications.

Instructional Digital Media Studio - Access to hardware and software and one-on-one consulting for faculty working on instructional applications of audio, video, imaging, or 3D technologies.

Digital Media Technologies Explorations - Exploration of new and emerging technologies that may enhance teaching and learning.

Digital Media Hosting and Delivery - Work with ITS departments and other campus service providers to further technology infrastructure and support services for digital media in instruction.

Development of Advanced Instructional Media Applications - Develop advanced media applications focused on instruction, such as interactive Flash applications, delivery of media content collections, media post-production, and 3D modeling/animation.

Virtual Worlds for Instruction - Instructional and technical consulting on the educational use of 3D virtual worlds.
