Files@Iowa
Files@Iowa is a service offered by ITS that allows users to save their files to a backed-up location that is accessible from on or off campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. MyFiles provides access to Files@Iowa through a web interface or WebDAV folders. See the MyFiles Support Center for more information.
All students, faculty, and staff are allocated a Home (H:) drive with 10 GB of personal file space. Each department is allocated 1 GB of file space per full-time employee.
Accessing Files@Iowa
These directions will help you access your files whether you are on or off the University of Iowa campus. To begin, you'll need to know if your computer is part of the Iowa domain. Generally, a university-issued computer is part of the Iowa domain, and your own personal computer is not. (How to tell if my computer is part of the Iowa Domain.)
