The HawkID is your personal, electronic identification. Your HawkID username and password allow you to access most online services at the University of Iowa. The username is made up of some combination of your first, middle and last name.

The 2009 HawkID 2.0 project will:

  • Improve security
  • Provide consistency of service
  • Reduce the resources (time, money) required to roll out new services
