Windows XP was released in two versions, Windows XP Home and Windows XP Professional.

  • Windows XP Home is designed for the home computer.  It includes the Help and Support Center which allows users to easily find troubleshooting tips and guides on how to use a number of the Windows XP features. 
  • Windows XP Professional contains all of the features of XP Home, but also includes the ability to connect the computer to an Active Directory domain and use the Remote Desktop feature.

Windows XP is fully supported by the ITS Help Desk.  This Support Center is designed to give some basic troubleshoot tips and information about new features or security measures in Windows XP
