1-on-1 Consulting

You may drop by UCC 2800 (Old Capitol Centre) at any time, or by appointment, and receive one-on-one assistance with a wide variety of technologies. You may keep a coach by your side, or use us to get started and use our computers to keep going on your own. Contact us by phone or e-mail its-helpdesk@uiowa.edu to set up an appointment.

Departmental Training

Call us to set up a small-group training opportunity, either in our facility or in your department. We can quickly set up training in ICON, Student Response Systems, Wikis, Blog and more.

The mission of Instructional Services at the University of Iowa is to support instructors and researchers who wish to integrate technology into their work. The term "instructors" also includes the hundreds of teaching assistants here at the University of Iowa and can be expanded to include support staff whose work directly impacts teaching. Therefore, Instructional Services offers workshops throughout the semester for TAs and Departments at the request of departments.
