Everywhere we look, the world is becoming increasingly digital, and huge amounts of digital information are being generated and stored.

We invite you to learn how the University of Iowa is preparing for the digital future - the latest initiatives in "big data," informatics, next-generation communications, and IT security, to name a few - at Tech Forum 2014: "Living in a Digital World."

Please save the date of Monday, June 2 for this special event, which is free and open to all IT professionals at the university. TF14 will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Iowa City. This annual daylong conference draws hundreds of technology professionals from across campus and serves as a valuable learning and community-building opportunity.

We also encourage you to participate in the Tech Forum poster session. It's a great way to share information about IT communities, or to showcase your IT project or service.

Details of TF14 will posted at http://techforum.uiowa.edu, and we will notify you as soon as registration opens. You can also track the progress on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/uitechforum) or Twitter (https://twitter.com/uitechforum).

The TF14 Planning Committee is working on a great lineup, and we hope you are able to join us.
