Clicker Results: Integrating TurningPoint with your ICON Gradebook

December 7th and 9th from 9:00 -11:00 am
ITS Training Room (Room 2523 in the UCC Conference Center)

This course will explain how to export your clicker question results from TurningPoint in a form that can be imported into your ICON gradebook.  We will spend the first hour walking through the steps of the export/import process using the D2L export format.  The second hour will be open for you to bring your own session files to work with us in exporting the result files and importing them into ICON.

Clickers Basics

February 2nd: 9:00 - 11:00am

This training session will cover getting started using clickers and basic uses of clickers. We will show you how to set up the system, build basic questions, import participant lists from ICON, and run a presentation with TurningPoint in PowerPoint and TurningPoint AnyWhere (which runs outside of PowerPoint).

Clickers Advanced Uses

This training session will cover more advanced uses of clickers. We will show how to export results for use in ICON, demonstrate more advanced types of questions, such as demographics, and discuss games and team competitions that can be played with clickers.

Turning Technologies Online Training

Turning Technologies has several online tutorials to help guide you through a basic understanding of using student response systems. Click on Learning Community on the right side of the screen. You will have access to six different options. The tutorial are each less than 3 minutes and weekly online training Webinars last one hour. This is a great way to get started.
