ITS-Research Services and Iowa Informatics Initiative (UI3) are hosting a Machine Learning with Python Workshop on November 15, 2019 - 12:30 Pm - 03:30 Pm

This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of Machine Learning in Python. Topics addressed will include

  • An introduction to Machine Learning and Python
  • Demonstration of model development and evaluation
  • Core supervised and unsupervised learning techniques

Participants will be able to learn how to leverage widely-used data analytics tools and libraries in Python such as Jupyter Notebook and scikit-learn. A basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts is recommended but not required for this course. Participants will be expected to bring their own laptops.
