Introduction to Python Data Analytics

ITS-Research Services and Iowa Informatics Initiative (UI3) are hosting an Introductory Python workshop on April 10, 2020  from 12:30 Pm - 3:30 Pm. 

This introductory class will cover the basic elements in Python data analytics and provide hands-on practice. The topics to be covered include

  • An introduction to data analytics and Python,
  • Python basics for data analysis
  • Data preparation/exploration/visualization using widely used data analytics libraries in Python.

Participants will be able to learn how to leverage widely-used data analytics tools and libraries in Python such as Jupyter Notebook. Participants will be expected to bring their own laptops.
