
Kaltura is a digital media platform which allows users to upload, tag content with metadata, view, browse and play media assets via easy-to-use video and audio streaming software. Kaltura is integrated with ICON, and can be used to deliver content outside of ICON as well.

Our Kaltura MediaSpace (https://mediaspace.uiowa.edu/) and the Kaltura integration with ICON (My Media and Media Gallery) are currently experiencing a degradation of service. We are working with Kaltura Support to resolve this issue.
At this time you may see errors when attempting to upload new content to Kaltura, manage/view course Media Galleries, or interact with embedded content from Kaltura in ICON or elsewhere.

Kaltura is experiencing an issue where captions/transcripts are unavailable for some content. We are working with Kaltura Support to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Please contact the ITS Help Desk if you have a video hosted in Kaltura ("My Media" / "Media Gallery" in ICON or Mediaspace) that you expect to have captions, but the captions are not working properly.
Kaltura will be performing scheduled maintenance. No service interruption is expected.

There may be times both Kaltura MediaSpace (https://mediaspace.uiowa.edu/) and Kaltura in ICON (My Media / Media Gallery) are unavailable or experience problems with uploading, viewing, editing, or other common uses of Kaltura.
Kaltura (My Media / Media Gallery in ICON and Kaltura MediaSpace) continues to experience intermittent outages and slowdowns as the vendor makes changes to their infrastructure.

Media (image/audio/video) shared through Kaltura is currently not displaying properly within https://mediaspace.uiowa.edu/ and ICON (My Media, Media Galleries, and course pages).
Direct links to specific assets are working but any Galleries, Channels, and Pages (including your My Media) may appear empty ("No Media Found").
