Turning Technologies released an update to TurningPoint Mac – TP8 version 8.3.0 and TP7 (Cloud) version 7.5.8 – in order to remain compatible with the latest Microsoft Office version 16.9.

For TurningPoint users who updated Microsoft Office prior to this patch, PowerPoint was disabled on the TurningPoint dashboard. To take advantage of the update and re-enable PowerPoint in TurningPoint, please update the software by following these instructions:

Note: An internet connection must be available to update the software.

  1. Open TurningPoint and sign in to your account.
  2. Click the Turning Technologies logo at the bottom of the Dashboard.
  3. Click Check for Updates.
  4. If an update is available, TurningPoint will download the update. 

If you have automatic updates turned on, the software should prompt you to update the next time you launch TurningPoint.
