Managing Your Artifact Repository

The Manage Repository link allows you to see what artifacts you have already uploaded. You can also upload artifacts here and then link to them later.

To get to your repository, mouse over the Tools button in the menu bar of your ifolio and click on Manage Repository.

To Upload Files:

Once you have files uploaded to the repository, you will see a list of files which includes the following information:

  • Upload a New Artifact: this tab allows you to upload files or links to your repository. For specific instructions, see Upload a File and Upload a Link below.
  • Delete something from your ifolio. Be careful using this because if you delete something that is attached to a particular page, it will delete it from that page as well as from your repository.
  • Name: this simply names the artifact that you have attached.
  • Uploaded: this tells you what date and time you uploaded the artifact.
  • Type: this indicates what file type the artifact is. For example, you may have uploaded a Microsoft Word document or a PDF file.
  • Size: this indicates the file size of the artifact. Currently, there is a 10 mb file size limit per artifact.
  1. Go to your repository by mousing over the Tools button in the menu bar of your ifolio and clicking on Manage Repository.
  2. On the File tab, click on Browse (IE/Firefox) or Choose File (Safari/Chrome) to locate a physical artifact you want to upload.
  3. Click Upload to add an artifact to your artifact repository.

To Upload Links:

  1. Go to your repository by mousing over the Tools button in the menu bar of your ifolio and clicking on Manage Repository.
  2. On the Hyperlink tab, type in a Link Name to identify it clearly in the repository. It will be what your reviewers see when you attach it to a page. Also, type or copy/paste the link's URL.
  3. Click Save Hyperlink to add the link as an artifact to your artifact repository.
