Using Reports

Some faculty members or mentors may have access to run reports regarding their department's ifolio.

  1. Go to your ifolio home.
  2. Click on the Reporting tab and choose Aggregate.

Aggregate Reporting

  1. This is reporting about your whole department. Depending on your role, you may see one or more departments listed.
  2. Check mark the department you want to see a report on.
  3. You can also choose a specific date range in your report.
  4. After selecting your department, what group you want to see (students, faculty/staff, or both), and a date range, Click on the Submit button. If the date ranges are left blank, you will get a report from the time your departmental ifolio launched.
  5. The report page will look different depending on which features are included in your departmental ifolio.
  6. A dash in a column means the option was not enabled in this particular ifolio. A "0" in a column means the option has been enabled, but no one has used that option yet.

This particular reporting feature allows departments to look for trends and usage by their students.

Single User Reporting

  1. Go to your ifolio home.
  2. Click on the Reporting tab and choose Single User.
  3. If you already know the student's HawkID, simply type it in. If you don't, click on the HawkID Lookup link. This will take you to the official University directory.
  4. You can also enter specific date ranges for the Single User reports as shown below.
  5. Click on Search.
  6. Review the data shown at the top of the report including the last time this student logged in, how many times he logged in, etc. If you choose, you can also email this student right from the report by simply clicking on his email address.
  7. Observe the bottom part of the report. At a glance, you can see how many comments, reflections, artifacts, and scorecards have been done within the departmental ifolio.
  8. Click on details next to the ifolio you have access to. This will give you the specific information on this student.
  9. Click back at the top of the report if you would like to run a new report on another student or on the ifolio logo at the top of the screen if you want to return to your ifolio home.
