At the University of Iowa, each unit managing web resources is expected to assess its current resources and make a plan for replacing or remediating existing web resources that don’t meet accessibility standards. But how do you know if you're getting it right? This two-hour session is intended to help website managers and developers make educated choices around their website accessibility testing strategy. After this session, you will:

  • Understand relevant standards for accessibility at Iowa
  • Learn how to test for web accessibility issues, including images, forms, tables, and more
  • Learn about a variety of free browser plug-ins, assistive technology and other tools to assess the accessibility of your technology

This session is recommended for web managers, communications leaders, or anyone responsible for their website's accessibility.
