On Thursday July 7th at 5:30 AM, ITS will upgrade the eduroam wireless service to use a more secure certificate.

After the update, all wireless devices (except Android) will require a manual confirmation of the new certificate.   

Below are instructions on how to accept the new certificate on your device.

These devices will connect to the new certificate without prompts or requests for changes.

When iOS devices connect to eduroam they will see the following screen:

iPhone/iPad Certificate page.

Press “Accept” to continue.

OS X devices will see the following screen:

Verify Certificate window.

Click “Continue” to see:

Window message that says: You are making changes to your Certificate Trust Settings. Type your password to allow this.

Enter in your computer login credentials and click "Update Settings" to continue.

Windows 7 users will see the following screen:

Windows Security Alert message.

Click "Connect" to continue.

When Windows 8 and 10 devices connect to eduroam they will see the following screen:

Wi-Fi eduroam message.

Click “Connect” to continue.

 When these devices reconnect to eduroam they will see the following screen:

Accept certificate and connect? message

Click the “Accept” button to continue.
