Note: When using this feature, be aware that the attendee area will be populated with the 'From', 'To', and 'CC' addresses in the event you create. This may not be the desired action. (Everyone who received the email will be invited to your event upon creation)

The Suggested Meetings add-in scans emails for dates and times in order to streamline the process of adding events into the users calendar. This add-in does not pose a security risk for sensitive data in emails.

  1. The add-in identifies information and automatically broken-underlines the entire event with date and time.
  2. By Clicking on this underlined text, you will bring up Suggested Meetings
  1. Navigate to File
  2. Click Manage Add-ins (under Info)
  3. Sign in to your account using your HawkID@uiowa.edu and HawkID Password
  1. Navigate to office365.uiowa.edu and sign in
  2. Click on Mail
  3. Click on the Gear in the upper-right corner of the screen to access Settings
  4. Click Mail (towards the bottom of the window)
  5. On the left side of the screen, click on the General arrow tab (just below "Shortcuts")
  6. Click Manage add-ins
  7. Uncheck the desired selections
  1. Navigate to office365.uiowa.edu and sign in
  2. Click on Mail
  3. Click on the Gear in the upper-right corner of the screen to access Settings
  4. Select Managing Add-Ins
  5. Select My Add-Ins and disable the appropriate selections
