SITA - Student Instructional Technology Assistants

We provide a different kind of IT service.

Student Instructional Technology Assistants (SITAs) work one-on-one with instructors on projects that enhance instruction with technology.

SITAs guide instructors through the project planning process, provide consulting on technology and instructional design issues, offer production assistance, and introduce other Instructional Services resources as needed. SITAs also offer departmental training sessions on instructional software.

Visit Our Office

We are located in 2800 University Capitol Centre, (the second floor of the Old Capitol Mall).

Our office is open for walk-in consultations Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

You can also schedule an appointment in advance if you have more specialized matter to discuss.

Transit and Parking

On Iowa City Transit, take any route to the Downtown Interchange. Cambus riders will want to exit at the Schaeffer Hall stop. Parking is available for $0.75/hour in Iowa City's Clinton Street Parking Ramp (corner of Clinton and Burlington Streets).
