About Information Technology Services
As the central IT organization, ITS is composed of seven departments, each with distinct responsibilities and services. ITS is part of a broader campus community of IT providers known as OneIT. Central, collegiate, and administrative IT teams collaborate to meet your technology needs.
What we do
Information Technology Services (ITS) caters to the diverse technology needs of University of Iowa students, employees, and visitors, providing technical support, resources, and services essential to the core mission and daily operations of the institution.
IT Services include:
- Administrative systems for records and business
- Application development
- Assistance navigating evolving artificial intelligence tools
- Email, calendar, and cloud collaboration tools
- End-user support
- Identity and access management
- Incorporating technology into teaching and learning
- Information security and policy
