The ITS Virtualization Team will update the VMware vCenter appliance.  This update (6.7 Update 2) includes various security and other fixes.  This is a minor patch level update, not a major version upgrade.

During this time, the vCenter service (vcenter.iowa.uiowa.edu) will not be available.  Changes to running VMs or connections to virtual consoles in the VMware environment will not be readily available.  If you have an emergency need to access a VM during the outage, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 384-HELP (384-4357) for them to contact the Virtualization Team in ITS-SST.
