ChatGPT Edu is a generative artificial intelligence (AI) assistant designed to engage in natural, conversational dialogue to help you complete tasks, explore ideas, and solve problems. This tool can be a powerful support in your work and learning, whether asking questions, seeking explanations, generating content, or brainstorming new approaches.

This introductory training will help you understand how ChatGPT Edu works, explore its capabilities, and learn practical strategies for interacting effectively with the tool. This session is meant for University of Iowa faculty and staff interested in learning how to use ChatGPT Edu effectively and responsibly.

Participants should have a University of Iowa ChatGPT Edu license to follow along with demonstrations.
