Gradescope is a feedback and assessment tool that reduces the pain and time associated with grading exams, homework, and other assignments. It is widely used for delivering assessments in any format (online, in-person, hybrid) and enables instructors and graders to provide better and more timely feedback, resulting in improved learning outcomes.

The issue has been resolved by Gradescope.
Description

ICON - Gradescope is providing an error when clicking "Post Grades to ICON" for linked-assignments. An error message states an assignment must first be linked, when already linked.

Until this issue is resolved, grades can be exported via the 'Download Grades' button on the 'Review Grades' page of the assignment, and then uploaded to Canvas' Gradebook:

  1. Export exam grades from Gradescope as a CSV file.
  2. Edit the CSV file to match the format for importing the exam grades to the Canvas Gradebook. *You can obtain a file with the correct formatting by exporting the Gradebook
  3. Import the grades into the Canvas Gradebook.

Gradescope developers are working on a fix.

Description

TurnItIn has a scheduled maintenance window that will affect some Gradescope features. Users may experience interruptions when loading assignments and making submissions to assignments, as well as when submitting files for Gradescope’s Code Similarity Reports. Description

Gradescope is experiencing slow page loading. There may also be slowness in auto-grading submissions, answer grouping, posting grades, and syncing rosters. ITS staff are working with the vendor on resolving this issue. More information can be found on the Gradescope status page.
