SITA Study Hall

Need helping setting up your course in ICON? Want to talk about refreshing your teaching strategies? 

Starting August 18th, The Office of Teaching, Learning & Technology (OTLT) is holding open, drop-in Study Halls for faculty, instructors and TAs throughout the year with staff on hand to answer your teaching technology questions, provide expert advice and help you get the most out your semester.

Tuesdays  3:00pm - 5:00pm

Fridays  1:00pm - 3:00pm 

All SITA Study Halls are in the Center for Teaching, 2070E University Capitol Centre (above Hills Bank)

ShareStream will be offline during the Data Center Operations & Services Maintenance.

ICON (D2L) will be online, but may experience brief connectivity issues.  ICON (Canvas) will not be impacted.

Canvas courses are starting to come back online, but are loading slowly.  The outage earlier today due to issues with Amazon Web Services in the cloud may not be fully resolved.  Amazon has repaired access to existing files in Canvas. Uploading new files to Canvas is not working correctly.

The issues with Qualtrics and Lynda.com are resolved.

Some users are reporting a 'Service is Unavailable' error message when previewing documents in Speedgrader. Canvas has identified an issue that intermittently causes a connection timeout between Canvas and the Crocodoc document previewer. Canvas and their partner company are aware of the problem and are working on a resolution. Visit the Status Page for more information.

Canvas is experiencing ongoing intermittent document preview errors when loading documents in the browser.  Canvas is aware of the problem, and is working on a resolution.
