1. Ensure that the eFax Mailbox is added as an additional mailbox in Outlook.
  2. Click New Email
  3. Select the appropriate email account to send from by clicking From and selecting the email account.
  4. Enter the recipient’s information in the To field, in the following format for campus, local, and long distance: 3191234567@fax.uiowa.edu.
  5. Enter the Subject in the Subject field; which will appear on the fax cover sheet.
  6. Any text in the body of the email will display on a separate page after the cover sheet and before any attached documents. If necessary, include any ‘Attention To’ information in the body of the email.
  7. Attach your file to the document by doing one of the following:
    1. Drag and drop your document onto the email.
    2. Click Attach File, locate your document, click Insert.
  8. When completed, click Send.
