Elements of Success gives students real time information about their grades, course performance, and learning behaviors that help them achieve their desired course outcomes.

This learning analytics platform was created by the Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology and Administrative Information Systems, in close collaboration with faculty members at the University of Iowa.

This platform is recommended for courses with multiple assessments and at least 25 students. Any instructor can add Elements of Success to their ICON courses by opening their course, clicking Settings, selecting Navigation in the menu across the top of the screen, and dragging Elements of Success into their course navigation.
