Elements of Success gives students real time information about their grades, course performance, and learning behaviors that help them achieve their desired course outcomes.

This learning analytics platform was created by the Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology and Administrative Information Systems, in close collaboration with faculty members at the University of Iowa.

This platform is recommended for courses with multiple assessments and at least 25 students. Instructors can contact the ITS Help Desk to learn more, set up an appointment with the Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology, and request this platform be added to a course. Students can access Elements of Success if their instructors have added it to a course.
