As a list owner, you can enable a list so it can be displayed as a Blog.   See LSoft's Turn Your Discussion Group into a Blog support page for information. 

Also see Changing the List Archives to Forum or Blog View for information.  You can force users to use a particular view or leave it at the default so users have the option of which view they would like to use.
