Puppet Enterprise Version Support Policy

ITS offers system administrators a Puppet Enterprise server instance to help manage nodes on-premise or in the Cloud. The PE version will align with Puppet’s LTS (Long Term Support) version. When a server instance’s PE version reaches end of life support, ITS will provide a new server instance with the latest LTS version. Puppet LTS release cycle is every two years; see more info here.

ITS will provide help migrating to the latest LTS version and will allow support of the server instance and PE software for no longer than six months after providing the latest PE server instance.
