The Zoom for Outlook add-in is designed to manage scheduling within the Outlook on the web and desktop apps and is automatically installed for all eligible faculty, staff, and student employee accounts. The add-in allows you to easily add a Zoom meeting to any new or existing calendar event.

Outlook on the Web

  1. Log in to Outlook on the web using your HawkID and HawkID password
  2. Select the Outlook icon
  3. Select the Calendar icon
  4. In the top-left, click the New Event button
    • New event button
  5. Enter the meeting details (date, time, attendees, etc.)
  6. In the menu bar, click the Zoom icon and choose Add a Zoom Meeting

  7. Zoom will prompt to ask permission to display a new window. Choose Allow

  8. A HawkID login window will open. Log in with your HawkID and password

  9. Zoom meeting information will be added to your calendar appointment

Outlook for Windows

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Select Calendar
  3. Create a new appointment
  4. In the toolbar, click Add a Zoom Meeting

  5. A HawkID login window will open. Log in with your HawkID and password

  6. Zoom meeting information will be added to your calendar appointment

Outlook for Mac

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Select Calendar
  3. Create a new appointment
  4. In the toolbar, click Add a Zoom Meeting

  6. Zoom meeting information will be added to your calendar appointment

Outlook Mobile

  1. Open the Outlook app
  2. Select Calendar
  3. Create a new appointment by clicking the + button

  4. Enter the meeting details (date, time, attendees, etc.)
  5. Choose the online meeting provider
    • For iOS, tap the Meeting Provider field and choose Zoom

  6. A HawkID login window will open. Log in with your HawkID and password.

  7. Just below the Location field, tap the toggle next to Zoom

  8. Zoom meeting information will be added to your calendar appointment
