Windows Web Hosting provides an alternative to the central web service to have departments and organizations host their web site on a Microsoft infrastructure. Advantages to this service over the central web service include ASP and .NET programming, built-in Active Directory permissions and network share access instead of FTP.

The project consolidated Drupal-hosted websites on campus onto a single platform, migrated over 650 sites to the cloud-hosting provider Acquia, and implemented a Drupal Digital Signage Service for campus-wide use.
