First Upgrade:

Router software upgrade. The network router software upgrade is designed to be "in-service" with no impact to operations. Infrastructure Day is being utilized to be on the safe side.

Data center: Information Technology Facility (ITF)

Expected impact on services: none

Second and Third Upgrades:

Upgrade the F5 LTM systems (one redundant pair in LC and one redundant pair in ITF).

The Lindquist Center (LC) standby LTM will be upgraded first after which, the LC standby LTM will then take over load-balance functionality while the LC primary LTM is upgraded. Once the LC primary LTM is upgraded, load-balance functionality will move back from the standby to the primary. No LC service impact is expected.

The same process will be repeated with the F5 LTM pair in the ITF Data Center.
