ITS is investigating an issue where the Citrix Workspace application is not passing through Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials on certain campus computers. As a result, users may need to manually log-in to Workspace using their HawkID and password.

If an error message is still showing up, please try this temporary workaround:

  1. Click the Settings icon in the top-left corner of Citrix Workspace.
  2. Select Accounts…
  3. Click Add.
  4. Enter your university email address and select Continue.
  5. When prompted with “Do you want to use the information provided by virtualdesktop.uiowa.edu to configure your account?” select Continue.
  6. Choose Virtual Desktop.
  7. Sign in using your HawkID and password.
