ITS Enterprise Infrastructure will be upgrading network leaves in the ITF data center as part of April's infrastructure day. These updates are to address bug fixes. The updates will require reboots of the leaves that will result in the following Research Services systems having a network outage over the course of the maintenance window.

Argon HPC:

Access to the cluster will be unavailable during the outage window. Jobs that were submitted prior to the maintenance window will continue to run. Jobs running from the impacted LSS shares below will lose connection. Users will also be unable to mount or access their Argon Homes via data.hpc.uiowa.edu or IDAS. 

IDAS:

Active sessions will continue to run. There is a small chance that new sessions may not be able to launch during the maintenance window. We recommend logging into IDAS and starting your session before the maintenance window.
