Turnitin has resolved the issue related to the ICON (Canvas) key rotation issue and it's currently working as expected. Faculty might need to resubmit submitted papers for plagiarism review if the similarity report has not produced a similarity score and report to review.
Some Turnitin Similarity Reports Delayed in ICON
Turnitin Support is currently looking into why some Turnitin similarity reports may not have completed processing.
ICON assignment submissions made using Plagiarism Framework may display a status indicating that the similarity check is still in progress. In some cases, selecting “Resubmit for plagiarism review” does not resolve the issue, and attempting to open the report may result in the message:
“This file is still being processed by the plagiarism detection tool associated with the assignment. Please check back later to see the score.”
At this time, no action is required from instructors or students. The issue is under investigation, and affected similarity reports should process once the integration is fully restored.
