iThenticate will experience 24 hours of downtime on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Access to iThenticate v1 ends on this day.

On this day, the migration process will move the following from iThenticate v1 to a new 2.0 account:

• Accounts
• Users/User Groups
• Submissions
• Similarity Reports
• Folders

When the migration has been completed successfully, all users will receive an automated “Welcome to iThenticate” email to access their 2.0 accounts. They will then simply log in to access the enhanced iThenticate 2.0 experience.  

All iThenticate users will be notified by email prior to the migration.  

Turnitin will not be impacted by this event.
