The ITS Network Engineering Services (NES) team will be upgrading software on the core ITF datacenter router (connectivity from both data centers to campus and internet). The redundant core router, located at the LC14 datacenter, will remain up for the duration. There is the potential for a blip in connectivity during router reboot.
As a result of the Data Center Network Refresh, there are some clean-up tasks that need to be completed. The ITS Data Center Hosting team is removing some legacy network devices at the LC14 datacenter that require production cabling to be disconnected and reconnected. The scope of impact is limited and specific. Impacted device owners will be contacted for change coordination. This work is being done on Infrastructure Day out of an abundance of caution.
