From 6-7am: The ITS Network Engineering Services (NES) team will be upgrading software on the core LC router (connectivity from both data centers to campus and internet). The redundant core router, located at ITF, will remain up for the duration. There is the potential for a blip in connectivity during router reboot.

Network connectivity within each UI enterprise datacenter will not be impacted. As stated above, connectivity between datacenters and to campus and internet has the potential for a network blip of less than 60 seconds.

From 7-9am: The F5 management interfaces will be migrated to a VRF and assigned new IP addresses. Access to the F5 management interfaces will remain unchanged. The change is to management interfaces, not production interfaces. No production traffic impact is expected, though the work will be performed under reduced redundancy.
