NES is still waiting for the software update to be released by our wireless vendor.
However, NES has also discovered an underlying architecture issue that needs to be resolved to ensure the devices are discoverable. Resolving this issue will take some time. There will be an update once NES has a plan and timeline defined.
Engineers have identified a known issue with the wireless discovery service that prevents personal mobile devices from discovering Assistive Listening broadcasts in select campus locations. Dedicated assistive listening devices are unaffected.
Engineers are testing a software update to the wireless system that would resolve this issue and will update this notice when resolved.
