We're aware that several major AI platforms are currently experiencing service outages affecting users globally, including:

• Claude (Anthropic)
• ChatGPT (OpenAI)
• Gemini (Google)

Impact: Users may be unable to access these AI services or may experience degraded performance.

Status: The providers are investigating. At this point we have not observed direct impacts to campus users. 

We recommend checking the official status pages of these services for updates:

• OpenAI Status
• Anthropic Status
• Google Cloud Status

What you can do:

• Try again in a few moments—services are intermittent and expected to be restored quickly
• Use alternative tools for critical tasks if needed
• Report ongoing issues to the ITS Help Desk
