Maintenance has been completed. Users may now access Argon as usual.
Information Technology Services (ITS) will perform maintenance that will impact the Argon (High Performance Computing) service. This maintenance is being performed proactively to maintain the security and integrity of ITS services.
What to expect during maintenance:
- Users will be unable to log in to Argon during maintenance. Existing sessions will be disconnected at the start of maintenance.
- New jobs will not be started. Existing jobs might continue running, though we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
- Argon home directories will be unavailable.
- Several LSS servers will also be affected. Running jobs may lose connectivity to these shares. Please refer to the LSS maintenance alert https://its.uiowa.edu/alert/13691 for a list of affected shares.
Preparation:
- Please save your work before the maintenance window.
- Please avoid scheduling critical work during maintenance.
