The issue has been resolved

We've identified an issue with the new campus DNS servers and have reverted to our legacy servers. The issue has been identified and corrected, but we are planning to perform additional testing before moving back to the new servers.

At this time, we are going to leave the alert open over the weekend and decide about closing it on Monday.

Based on our wireless vendor's recommendation, we are going to downgrade one of our production wireless controllers to a previous version to see if the upgrade we did on 1/11/2025 is the issue.  

The downgrade is planned for 9:00 AM and there should be no customer impact as the other controllers will be able to handle the traffic due to our redundancy design.

We have engaged our wireless vendor for assistance.

NES is aware that the performance of the campus Wi-Fi network is degraded and is investigating.

No estimated time to restoration is currently available.
