[Closed] Service Degradation - Large Scale Storage (LSS)
ITS Research Services has restored access to all LSS systems, however, automation work still remains to complete the implementation of the new authentication configurations. Until this work is done, we will not be able to create new LSS shares or make changes to share quotas. Once this work is done we will start processing requests.

Update IBM SPSS license to support new SPSS Release v.31.0
ITS will be updating the following license server to support SPSS Release v.31.0:

Duration: Expected to be under 15 minutes, but 30 minutes are being allotted in case any issues arise.
[Closed] Service Degradation - Multiple Services, Off Campus - DNS Issues
After the migration to our new EIP DNS system last evening as our external DNS resolvers, we are seeing some DNS resolution issues.
*Iowa websites may not load for users and they will not be able to connect to VPN Services.
Network Engineering Services is looking into the issue.

Update MATLAB license to support new MATLAB Release 2025a. ITS will be updating the following license server to support MATLAB Release 2025a: matlab-lm.iowa.uiowa.edu
[Closed] Service Announcement - Printing in Computer Labs (ITCs)
Starting Friday, August 1, printing prices in Instructional Technology Centers (ITCs) will increase to:
- $0.07 per black and white impression
- $0.20 per color impression
Departments hosting student printers will be reimbursed at:
- $0.03 for black and white
- $0.16 for color
This adjustment supports the sustainability of printing services while keeping costs below local alternatives.
