Service Degradation – Sectigo Certificate Issuance Delays
We are currently experiencing delays in certificate issuance due to degraded performance at our certificate service provider (Sectigo).
What is the problem?
Certificate issuance requests are processing slower than normal because of an issue within Sectigo’s client and API infrastructure.
Who is affected?
Customers requesting new certificates, renewals, or reissues that rely on Sectigo services.
What services are impacted?
- Certificate issuance and related client portal/API operations
- Affected endpoints include Sectigo and partner client areas

We are working to diagnose and resolve the issue as soon as possible. We will provide updates as we learn more.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Multiple Services
Network Engineering Services will be upgrading the campus wired infrastructure. During this upgrade, wireless connectivity will be down for all of campus.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Printing in Computer Labs (ITCs)
We will be upgrading PaperCut software. This includes the PaperCut Application server and the print servers. This upgrade to the PaperCut Application server will take longer than usual.
The following printing services will be down during the maintenance window
- Printing in the ITCs
- Web print for the ITCs
- Web interface for PaperCut
- Printing to charge printers
- Printing that requires the use of the PaperCut Client software
Printing to IOWAPRINT01, IOWAPRINT02, IOWAPRINT03, and IOWAPRINT04 will be available during the maintenance window. However, it will be interrupted briefly
[Closed] Service Degradation - UICapture
Some content is taking longer than expected to restore from the UICapture Archive. ITS Staff are working with Panopto to ensure that the queue of content being restored is cleared as soon as possible.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Clickers
Top Hat is implementing a bi-weekly scheduled maintenance window on Sundays through 2026. This new schedule allows Top Hat to make necessary updates in a timely manner to ensure the platform remains stable, secure, and performs optimally.
Scheduled maintenance may occur every other Sunday from 2:00 am CT to 7:00 am CT. This window was chosen to minimize impact on our users by utilizing a period of historically low platform activity.
Educators and students will see a message and reminders in Top Hat notifying them in advance of planned downtime. A small banner will also appear on the app.tophat
[Closed] Service Announcement - eduroam - Annual Campus Eduroam Certificate Renewal
ITS will be renewing the SSL/TLS Certificate for the campus eduroam authentication servers.This certificate is used to verify the authenticity of the campus eduroam authentication servers and needs to be renewed periodically to maintain the security of the eduroam service.
