[Closed] Service Announcement - Two-Step Login with Duo Security
Effective April 17, the university will implement Duo Verified Push for the entire campus, including health care. This enhanced security measure will require users to enter a three-digit code presented on the screen into the Duo Mobile App when a service requires two-factor authentication. Linux software mirrors will be down for maintenance during this period.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Multiple Services
SiteNow websites and UI Digital Signage will be upgraded to pull events from the new University of Iowa Events platform. During the upgrade deployment, events displays may be unable to fetch events. Please refrain from re-saving events displays during this time as it might affect the stored filters.

Gradescope has a scheduled maintenance. During this time exporting submissions, access to Code Similarity Reports, and integration with LTI 1.3 will not be available. Additional information can be found on the Gradescope status page.

Turnitin will take a scheduled emergency maintenance. The following services will be impacted and unavailable through ICON or their dedicated websites during this time:

- Turnitin Core API (including Integrations)
- Crossref Similarity Check
- Authorship
- Roster Sync
- Feedback Studio for iOS

[Closed] Planned Maintenance - JAMF Pro Apple Device Management
The Jamf service will be upgraded to version 11.15. There should be no interruption of services to users.
[Closed] Outage - Multiple Services, Buildings
Construction work by contractors operating in the Southwest campus area has inadvertently caused a power outage for some buildings. As a consequence of this issue, network and other IT services, including voice services, are not available in these buildings until power is restored.
ITS is standing by to restore services after power is restored. We expect to have services back online later this afternoon
[Closed] Service Degradation - Plagiarism Detection
The External Tool configuration when using Turnitin in ICON is unavailable and not working at this time. As a result, a Page Error notice is displayed that says "Something broke unexpectedly..." Access continues to work when logging in at Turnitin.com.
A work around for this, when creating new assignments in ICON, is to use the Plagiarism Framework configuration to work with SpeedGrader. The instructions for this process are available at: Creating an assignment in Feedback Studio using Canvas Plagiarism Framework

SiteNow's hosting provider will be performing maintenance. Some applications may experience a temporary interruption of service.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Data Center Operations & Services
Nature of the work – Routing will be changed for global-scope and local-scope networks used by ITS Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) managed or hosted servers in the LC datacenter. This work affects both general and secure server networks. All other LC networks (customer-managed, storage, or non-EI tenants) are not in scope.
Expected impact on services: For each network change, all servers/services on that network will be inaccessible for up to 5 minutes.
