The F5 Big-IP Local Traffic Managers (LTMs) and Global Traffic Managers (GTMs) will be migrated to new hardware. The migrated devices will continue to run the same BIG-IP software version and retain their existing configurations.
While no production traffic impact is expected, the work will be performed under reduced redundancy. Were a hardware failure to occur during the migrations, workloads in ITF or LC14

During the maintenance window, Top Hat may be unavailable and visitors will see a maintenance page. Any educator who has made an assignment due during or shortly after the maintenance window should consider changing the due date/time so that students have adequate time to complete them.

[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Campus Wireless Authentication
ITS will be upgrading the Authentication Servers for the campus wireless service.
During the maintenance window UI-Guest and the UI-DeviceNet Registraion portal will be unavailable for 2-3 hours.
eduroam and devices already registered to UI-DeviceNet should not be impacted during the maintenance window.
Healthcare wireless should not be impacted.

There is an issue affecting site search for SiteNow sites. The OSC web team is currently investigating.
[Closed] Service Degradation - High Performance Computing
We are currently experiencing an issue related to internet access of Argon HPC from off campus. IT teams are aware of the issue and are continuing to investigate.

[Closed] Service Degradation - Digital Signage
A recent upgrade has caused videos on signage.sites.uiowa.edu (Digital Signage) to not autoplay.
The OSC web team has identified the issue and is working on a fix.
[Closed] Outage - Swipe
The campus swipe system is currently unavailable. We are aware of the issue and working to restore service.

There is an issue affecting site search for most SiteNow sites. The OSC web team is currently investigating
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Multiple Services
Sometime during the day it will be necessary to upgrade the campus wireless authentication servers to apply critical patches.
This alert will be updated as soon as patches become available.
UI-Guest and the UI-DeviceNet registration portal will be unavailable for one hour while the campus servers are patched. All other campus wireless services should remain available.
Note: Wireless Services at UIHC will not be impacted.
