AWS is a cloud computing platform provided to campus. ITS-Enterprise Infrastructure manages the enterprise agreement with Amazon for these services and also supports the platform.
A business associate agreement (BAA) has also been negotiated to support HIPAA workloads.

The us-east-1 (N. Virginia) region in Amazon Web Services is currently experiencing an outage that is affecting multiple services, including Top Hat and ICON.
- Top Hat: The top menu is loading with an error. While users are still able to access, edit, and present their course content, it is unclear if data from Attendance, etc., is being captured.
- ICON: Multiple features including New Quizzes, Blueprint Course Copies and images in the rich content editor are currently impacted.
Support staff are investigating.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is experiencing a major outage in the us-east-1 (N. Virginia) region. University AWS accounts are impacted. Other University-provided services hosted by third-party providers may also be impacted by this outage if they use AWS for their infrastructure.
