A faculty learning community (FLC) is a cross-disciplinary faculty group that engages in an active, collaborative, yearlong program with a focus on specific topics about pedagogy in higher education.

Members of the Playing with Education: Gamifying the Classroom FLC will explore strategies for incorporating games into teaching with the goals of facilitating content learning, engaging students in active learning, and making learning fun. We’ll also explore integrating the tech and tools needed for leveraging games and gamification principles into a course.

The application is due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16.

Apply to join this or any of our other FLCs and CoPs.

The Office of Teaching, Learning, and Technology (OTLT) provides integrated, comprehensive, expert partnership in teaching and learning through faculty development, graduate student development, and organizational development, academic technology and course coordination, learning spaces design and support; and teaching and learning analytics and research.
