Faculty, graduate teaching assistants, and academic leaders from the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, the University of Northern Iowa, and beyond, will gather to explore what AI means for teaching, learning, and assessment. This conference-style event allows participants to come and go as time allows and attend sessions aligned with their interests.

Designed for participants at all levels of AI experience, the summit will feature practical strategies, emerging tools, and thought-provoking discussions on the opportunities and challenges AI presents in educational settings. Through presentations, workshops, and conversations, attendees will gain actionable insights they can apply immediately while engaging with broader questions of ethics, policy, and institutional leadership.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Tazin "Taz" Daniels, associate director, Center for Research on Learning and Teaching, University of Michigan
An educational developer and medical anthropologist, Daniels helps faculty engage critically with generative AI. Her work treats both informed adoption and informed abstention as valid paths, meeting instructors wherever they are.
