This session will introduce participants to the value of group work as a form of active and student-centered learning. We will discuss best practices for designing and assessing group work in person and virtually as well as how to communicate its purpose to students. We'll then apply this understanding in a hands-on activity in which participants and facilitators plan and execute a group learning exercise together.
