This two-part workshop will help attendees design components for a new or revised course, including a syllabus, assessment strategies, and learning activities. Participants may attend one or both sessions:

Building a Learning-Centered Syllabus: Explore strategies for designing a transparent, inclusive syllabus through interactive modules and build a first draft in consultation with Center for Teaching staff.

Creating a Plan for Your Course: Apply the principles of backward course design to a course you hope to teach. This highly collaborative two-day session will help participants create the essential components of a well-aligned course and will include working lunches.
