WPA3 will be enabled on the UI-Guest network starting Tuesday, January 27th at 10:00 AM. This transition will enhance our network security and ensure compliance with modern standards.

We are starting with UI-Guest to allow testing and plan to enable transition mode on eduroam before the end of the semester.

We will be using WPA3 Transition mode, which allows for a smooth migration by supporting both WPA2 and WPA3 connections.  

Most devices should not experience any issues during this transition. However, older devices (those manufactured prior to 2020) may encounter connectivity problems due to compatibility issues.

Please note that troubleshooting for older devices will be limited, as these devices have other security vulnerabilities and need to be replaced to ensure a secure network environment.
