Information Technology Services (ITS) has restored access to the Argon High-performance Computing Cluster and Argon Homes systems after the emergency maintenance earlier today. 

We know the down time was disruptive and we are grateful for your patience and understanding.

You can start utilizing Argon immediately. Jobs that were running during the outage are still running and will complete. 

If you have additional questions or specific needs, please reach out using the contact methods on the Research Services website or email us and we're happy to assist. 

Argon needs to undergo emergency maintenance and will be unavailable from 1-8pm. During this time, users will not be able to access Argon. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to restore service ASAP.

Please stop any jobs you have running by 12:30pm today, after this time all jobs will be automatically ended.

If you are an Argon or IDAS user, please refer to your email for further information including technical details and recommendations. 

The new homes platform is unavailable on login nodes, troubleshooting continues. User jobs should continue to run unaffected.

ITS Research Services has also put argon-login-6 into maintenance while we work to resolve the ongoing permissions denied issues.
